dont know if I can be of any help as I have a USB printer. Try start/setting/printers. click on the printer and play around in the properties. also try reinstalling the driver. If you dont have the disc you may be able to download it from the mfgs website. this will give u something to do until mr mark can get to you

Paul ...

I suspect that it is possible that there have been more than one printer installed on the box.

Go to Printer on Control board and delete all printers ...
then install the HP II using the reccoed driver from the HP website ==> hp.com

It is a possibility that there exists now a backlog of instruction to the printer so that will need to be deleted ....

also, you could have plugged the printer into an incorrect port ....
the path must be the one the machine uses ... LPT1 or COM1 or whatever ....
check that also ...

hope that some of this helps ...

Here's some troubleshooting steps from HP. I'd run through them before installing anything.

Let us know if you need any help with them.
