PG&E deserves the blame Nancy Hoge is heaping on them. Why did they cave in 30 years ago and go along with the PUC's price setting mechanism? You can't stay in business as a profit oriented corporation when someone else calls the shots and you can't make it in a government controlled fixed market. Guess who is fixing the market for money. To the extent any entity concedes anything to socialism, to that exist they will suffer and die. Why doesn't anyone know this? The universities don't believe it because they say there is no evidence. At the same time they say there is a long history of corporations stealing from the people and that is far worse than ending up like the Soviet Union. They have great intellects and intellects knows what's good and right. Just ask the Russians. The people of California don't believe in incentives. They're just a giveaway to the rich.
