From here in Oregon we have been bailing them out the past week or so. The lack of snow pac has pretty much put an end to that, (fish first). What we need is a total power shutdown of the entire left coast. Surely that would be a signal to get long. -s-

I've got to wonder why BC Hydro is still selling to CA.

At one point US generators that supplied CA in the past 30 days were (still are?) under an order from DOE to keep selling if they had the capactiy. I don't see how that order could apply to Canadian cos. in any way, shape or form.

No doubt there are Western Grid and power pool argeements between the US and Canada, but I doubt that they can force a sale.

Any idea why BC Hydro is doing this?
