IMO Interactive Brokers is worth the hassle because of the low commissions. But don't expect good customer service, and make sure you have a backup broker so you can hedge a trade if needed. If you only trade Nasdaq stocks there is really no reason to use BE unless you don't understand Nasdaq order routing. Having said that there is really no excuse not to understand order routing if you are only trading Nasdaq stocks. It is not rocket science, it is just something to be memorized. Since you have a law degree it will be a piece of cake. Heck, I only scored 154 on my LSAT and I still figured it out. :)
