Several positive indicators all on the same day! Volume spike accompanied a significant price rise. Marshall and Bruce both posting! Definitely a BUY signal. (In fact, I did add another 9000 shs at 5 1/4. Losing already!!).

When I last spoke to Gail she thought there was a good chance for approval before the end of the year. (2000)

However, a former FDA inspector suggested that was suspect for two reasons:

1. Very little gets done close to, and after the holidays.

2. When there is a change of administration, everything comes to a standstill until it's clear who the new bosses, priorities and personnel are in place. I wouldn't be surprised if we even extended beyond Feb 18th. (Today's activity notwithstanding).

He felt rather confident that there would be approval as the FDA realizes they should have accepted the panel's near unanimous recommendation last time.

This long-term holding is taxing my "Peter Lynch/Warren Buffet" approach to getting rich.

Best to all.

Jack

Marshall:

ATIS had its best day in a long, long time. Is it possible that something is finally about to break with the FDA?

In the annual statement last month, the company said that "even (then) they were in discussions with the FDA"
