Isn't that what we've been seeing since the fed reduced rates on 1/3? The market adjusted to the unexpected 50 basis point move, and the Nasdaq comp ended the day at 2616.69 . Ten market days later and the compx is at 2768.49, a 5.8% change. Not exactly a lightening move for an index that stands almost 50% off its ttm high.
