I read your socks story. It's odd to think that we both behaved foolishly in front of another person about new socks, but it's true. I'm embarrassed to tell my story, it's so stupid. But I do want to say that I am surely the only person who read it who knows personally what it is to be so struck with new socks it causes one to act goofy in front of an uncomprehending stranger.

I am so happy. This is almost as good as my new aerobic socks. nothing like being compared against aerobic socks, when it comes to make someone happy ! perhaps i should have put you down as the one i am learning sharp shooting when it comes to posting on SI -g-
