Rock, hey we think alike. . . .I just answered Mike M's question and had very similar views to your own. I saw the SDML from the 8th, but not seeing how it was compounded. A compounded DML would require a day within the original DML where a new gap starts a new DML right on top of the original.

As for Monday, I cannot say whether it will happen as you suspect. But my inclination is to say no. There is just not enough bad news out there to deflate this helium filled vessel. And everything is pointing at the FOMC making another historic move at the end of the month. And the one thing you cannot ignore is liquidity. As the FED adds liquidity to the markets, we can't help but feel the positive buoyancy. This is perhaps the most reliable factor of all for predicting future movement.
