So you then make this assessment on a single trade?

I've watched the individual stock picks over the years and found them to be middling on average. No horrendous, not great, just middling. I also listened (but did not participate) in the spring Q trade.

After I've put this one into the pot, my mind is pretty much made up. Unless there's more data with better results forthcoming, he should stick to general investment ideas and mutual funds. Anyone consider that he's not picking the funds anyway? Perhaps it's his partner (ex?) who's the mutual fund wiz kid.
