Sagawa now becoming more of a joke.
The important point to remember is that interest rates are going down and telcos are having an easier time borrowing.

He would look like an idiot if he changed his tune now but

I am just wondering how he concluded that "NT hustled like crazy" to meet 10 billion. His bet was they would not make it; so now he is trying to make some excuses for call.

Interest rates coming down is just such a huge factor but some idiots will still not learn. I guess you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

MCLD did a debt offering and it was oversubcribed. In addition, is it any wonder that people are after high yield corporate bonds. So many strategists are thinking this way. The low yields on treasuries is now creating a big appetite for emerging telco bonds.

It should not be hard to do some real analysis given this new interest rate environment.

I wonder where he got that information? It seems to imply some sort of channel stuffing....which is a pretty serious allegation.

It's also entirely possible that NT mgmt may have held back on some mega projects in terms of revenue recognition to save it for the next quarter.

The point is, such information is very difficult to get and is usually based on anecdotal and hearsay information.

For Sagawa to make that kind of subjective, vague innuendo that NT was stuffing the equipment into the channel and customer's network to achieve the numbers this past qtr is highly irresponsible UNLESS he has specific evidence from NT's customer claiming that they were pressured by NT to take equipment deployment ahead of schedule.

I bet Sagawa cannot come up with examples as such!
