I have no argument with your comments on PE. Some people use trailing PE, some use forward PE. I use current earnings multiplied by 4 to get the run rate. As long as you are consistent, and realise that some quarters are seasonally influenced, this method works OK. It is the method I use to work out PEG and generally speaking, I won't invest in anything with a PEG greater than 1. The exception would be a company with 100%+ growth.
