Why don't they just totally disconnect the stock market from the economy so nothing gets in the way of the casino? That way instead of being called a mania, it can just be considered legalized gambling? That sure would make more sense of this so called bull market you think we've got here.. Stock prices don't represent fundamentals of the company to begin with - it's all a function of float size, momentum, and # of shorts tugging on the other end.. And the best chart chasers win.. We could re-name the Nasdaq "Clown Bux", and get a clown mascot who looks a lot like Greenspan who blows the whistle every morning on CNBC.. whadya think?
