Russ... right. I had COMS in mind when I asked the question. The parent company eventually gave up a good portion of its value to PALM. Yep, DELL leads CPQ by 6 points now. Somehow DELL continues to be viewed as the fair-haired boy by WS. El

Spinoffs are good, but you need a good market to support it. I am in CNXT which has a great networking division they've been trying to spin off. They delayed it due to poor market conditions. It's still happening, but just a little later than hoped.

I agree, the iPac would be a great spinoff. But it looks like now is not the time.
