If you haven't noticed, Intel's server motherboards already have 66/64 PCI. 450NX (4-way Xeon, EDO), 840 (2-way P3/Xeon, RDRAM), SBT2 (2-way Xeon, ServerWorks chipset), 460GX (2-way and 4-way Itanium), etc.

<now it looks like LDT may be what replaces fast PCI.>

PCI-X and Infiniband are already going to replace PCI. LDT will be used for other things, like the replacement of the Athlon bus, interchip connections, NUMA-style SMP, etc.
