HS (charles electronics) reminds me to stay away from stocks like etys which have probably done everything to file bankruptcy but sign the papers. i used to trade hs in the 20s. later i found it after it fell on hard times and i traded a couple of times at one buck and they filed bankruptcy just after my last buy. only had 2k in it, but after commissions i think i got 3 bucks. hehehehe

but it might be like the old vrtl dog and try and come back to life and make you very happy......

later, pete

Trader and all,

My sense is that we are at the top of the declining channel on the s&P 500 here, may flop around for a trading day or two, but do not expect channel break here and then looking for the bottom as I have said around 1250 longer term. Beyond that, we will have to wait and see.

The money to be made here is in the realization that we are in a declining market and sell dear and buy cheap with the incline in mind.

Regards to you and all,

Jack

Mark: Re your interest in the metals, maybe you should put SSRI on your watch list. Let me know what you see when you find time.
