Amy and Greg,
there was an event a few years back where a major underwater power cable in Penang was cut and black-out one of Intel's major aseembly test facilities there. This was a big potential revenue impact event for Intel in the quarter in which it happened.

I remember heraing stories from our then head of manufacturing about Intel's attempts to get generators airlifted to Penang on short notice. Problem was that these things were so big and heavy that no US plane could carry them.

Intel actually was in negotiations with the Russian gov't to rent one of their largest military transport planes when the power was re-established.

To GVTucker's point, that's not something a typical start-up could swing. Not everything can be bought with stock options I guess....some things still require cash.
