Sure seems like some manipulation. Imagine opening your mutual fund statements to see the hit taken in 2000. But look, they are heading back up just like this time last year. Instead of taking money out we better sink our bonuses into tech again before it is to late. Meanwhile, the big money is shuddering at the news releases and earnings forecasts and what lays over the horizon. I maybe wrong but at least the patch is looking at 2 years of solid earnings and growth.
