There was another child, a secret child kept in the attic of the Schitt home. He was a hyperactive, precocious, verbose runt, prone to paranoia and hyperbole. When not playing on his toy typewriter, he liked to run. Since the attic was small and had no toilet, it was difficult for him to stop.

This attic child was appropriately called Sly Deronda Schitt.
