You may want to reconsider the TDFX/NVDA deal. You're probably not going to receive any NVDA shares (those shares are likely to be sold by TDFX in carrying out their closing). The amount of cash that will be distributed is debatable (& this isn't the appropriate thread).

From a TDFX holder who also picked up some on the cheap.

Hadn't occurred to me to buy 3dfx as a way to play NVDA - congratulations on your coup - it appears to have been a great idea.

Edit: Just read Chris 431's comments - maybe not such a great idea, if what he said is true, huh? Well, in any case, the value of your shares rose after you bought them, so who's to complain?
