i have been asking myself the same question for a while , and must admit that after all this one remains the best place.
As of recently you have to be selective, like reading posts from Paul Engel, tony Viola, tenchatsu, elmer, amy j, mary cluney, john fowler and a few other guys will give you 90 % of the info while saving the time to read the rest of the (mostly political) crap.
