As others have pointed out, however, this disrupts viewing on other well designed web sites.

Heh people, lets knock off the new feature requests for SI. The more code that goes into SI the more problems. Here is a comparison that seems to be true, to me anyway:

The Original SI = MS DOS
(A quick stable efficient system)

The New SI (1999) = Windows 3.0
(An attempt to make the system more user friendly, adding many new features, but buggy)

The New SI (2000) = Windows 3.1
(An attempt to make the system more user friendly, adding many new features, but still buggy)

The New SI (2001) = Windows 95
(An attempt to make the system more user friendly, adding many new features, but still very buggy)
