That's a huge document. I had to skim, and I mean SKIM.

My main interest is the discussion of catalytic converters in marine use. This idea is a disaster if you ask me, and I'm hoping manufacturers would choose 4S DFI over it, assuming they can meet requirements doing that. Trying to engineer a boat cat that both works, isn't dangerous, doesn't hurt performance, and is long term reliable presents a nightmare if you ask me. I'd sure go for DFI first. They do mention the problem with installing cats of any size in a boat (and keeping them cool). It could be manufacturers will use a combination of a small cat and DFI to meet requirements. Mounting a cat on an outboard motor is one thing, but the idea of a cat in the bilge of a gasoline powered boat is just way scary. I'll try to read more of the document and comment later.

Watching the OMC debacle is really interesting. Some of the best recent stories:

That last one is my favorite. Form a whole company to fix Ficht engines. That says it all. As bad as I thought Ficht was, I never thought OMC would actually go under. It's ironic you can build a business to benefit from it.

I continue to accumulate OE shares. We'll look back on these single digits numbers one day and reminisce.
