Hi Rose! Geez! I had not looked at it for a long time and think I will wait for a while before I look at it again. When and if we ever pick another portfolio....I am going to purchase some puts...... :-) Perhaps we should let the person that picked EMLX pick the whole portfolio next time. dealie

I guess none of us should quit our day jobs. Oops! Too late! Actually it was more like the job (and organization) ceased to exist, so what are you going to do now ole boy? To paraphrase, it was a "learn and live" experience. lurqer

Yeah, I finally looked at my results for Y2K ...down 20%, and I was hoping to make 20%. Ugh. I think we all probably need reality checks; historically, gains are in the 10-14% range, and it is undoubtedly foolish to think we can continue to have returns like we saw for the last few years. Nonetheless, I again am hoping to make 20%..Guess I didn't learn much last year. I think maybe the only thing I did right was to dump LU before it really tanked, but I probably should have kept the cash for longer than I did, which was about 2.5 minutes. Gotta learn to go more with my gut instincts. Anyway, I am starting to see much better action the last few days. DIGL is up something like 15 points..Maybe we are getting ready to rock out again. TK
