<< (I did it and it works) >>

It does, but unfortunately, it screws up viewing a lot of other well designed sites.

Scott Lux of SI explains the changes:

>> As you may have noticed over the last two weeks, we’ve been making changes to the fonts on Silicon Investor. This is part of our effort to create a more streamlined architecture. In the past, every page on Silicon Investor had its own font style and there was no standardized font throughout the site.

In order to create a more efficient architecture, we are moving toward cascading style sheets as opposed to using HTML code on every page. This creates an environment that allows us to quickly make changes to the site. It also affects the way your browser "maps" the page’s font style to your selected browser’s font style and your PC’s installed fonts. That’s why some users have seen changes in fonts whereas other users have not.

Over the next few weeks, you will continue to see different fonts while we complete our infrastructure changes. Once this process is complete, we’ll be able to quickly and easily set up standard fonts on every SI page that are geared toward a specific browser and OS.
Once the migration is complete, I’ll let you know and I’ll welcome suggestions on your preferred fonts.

Again, thank you for your patience. I think it will be well worth it. As always, please post your comments and suggestions. <<

Hopefully we will survive the experience and will be better off for it.
