Dave, the book I have just read called Options: a personal seminar by Scott Fullman discusses repair strategies with detailed examples. However, since I am schooling myself at this time, and have no options experience yet, I can not guage how effective or realistic the example strategies are. Just an f.y.i.

Nice to see the CBOE answer a pet peeve of mine on their new site. The quote "90% of all options bought expire worthlees" that is stated so much on options threads has always bothered me because if you understand put/call ratio you should know that it couldn't be true. I never knew what it actually was but now they give the answer. You will have to take the tour which I highly recommend especially to novice option traders.
