Anybody notice that the QCOM Business Wire Matsushita modem announcement omitted the customary and always reassuring: "...Under the terms of the amendment, XXX will pay QUALCOMM a multi-million dollar license fee and ongoing royalties at the same rates for 3G as those for cdmaOne equipment, irrespective of the licensed CDMA standard."?

CNET wrote: "Its standard CDMA license accord requires a multimillion-dollar fee and royalty payments when the licensee begins to ship products."

Yet Q did not see fit to include that information this time.
