minorejoy2000: he L. Regression Trendline study allows you to place a linear regression trendline in a pane of your Chart based on the Security's High, Low or Closing price. This line is based on the mathematical regression of the security's price. A Linear Regression is the result of a least squares fitting of data to a straight line. It is calculated by computing the Standard Deviation of the X and Y points, then minimizing X2 for Y=A+BX. The Linear Regression line can be used to forecast possible future price actions when used with the trendline projection attribute.
