There was a nice article concerning G&K Index member i2 Technologies posted on the i2 board that is worth a read for those interested:

Message 15213754

It talks about how i2 is distinguishing itself and pulling away from the pack as they gain traction and build their franchise.

I'll be slipping into my tights beginning tomorrow for three weeks as I travel to the states to sing in an opera.

Over and out until the middle of February...

Oops. Sorry about that, Bruce. The transition to Son of SAN didn't come with an inaugural address. Meant to do an FCIX review before retiring it, and may still do so. Meanwhile the FCIX remains public and can be retrieved at -
FCIX - siliconinvestor.com

The portfolio reflects historical performance since 01/15/1999 with subsequent IPO's added at their opening day closing prices. All M&A activity and stock splits are updated in all cases.

I also created an FC IPO tracking portfolio. Again, the companies were added at their offering closing price.
It hasn't been pretty. Brocade accounts for all the gain -

While the FCIX portrays a long term historical landscape, the "What have you done for me lately?" refrain is what the SNAX is singing WRT the Storage Networking Market Leaders. The SNAX shows market performance from the close of the 1st half of CY 2000, or since 06/30/2000. EMLX sings the loudest, with EMC and Brocade beginning to pipe up now, showing net gains only recently. QLogic is undergoing a change of voice with a corresponding vicissitude.

As they say, every picture tells a story, don't it?
