Q. Not trying to make anyone nervous. Just reaffirming the validity

of a useful tool that I've had good success with (when combined with other market tools) over many years.

I usually make miserable decisions when I get nervous or emotional. Everything I do to analyse, plan and prepare for decisions is based upon creating an atmosphere where I'm calm and more or less emotionally detached. Not always easy, but well worth the effort.

Glad your happy with the insider activity in your stocks. NTG looks and is acting well. Will buy any significant dip. But so far? Just "steady as she goes"(G).

Yep. This CA thing is really something. Am expecting some weakness in the entire market next week. Perhaps some buying ops here and there after MAYBE more bounce in the patch on Monday and/or Tuesday.

All JMVVHO.

Cheers

John Q, >Is anyone more than mildly nervous about the California situation?<

I am and it's NOT because I'm worried about a personal outage. Silicon Valley has hundreds of hi-tech companies without which tech will find it impossible to recover. The first reports of business losses because of blackouts are trickling in. Even if future blackouts are averted, higher energy costs will affect profits, which will affect stocks.

Jubak has some ideas who will benefit and who will be hurt moneycentral.msn.com
He also expects the problem to spread from CA.
