RE:"Both you and Mc came on full blast" I really didn't mean it to sound that way. I would have called it like it is regardless of what state. OTOH, having lived in California for a number of years and having been official resident of California, I noticed that Californians are for some reason very competitive about where they live. They like to make comparisons. Lot's of thought about the "lifestyle". Apparently they "lifestyled" it a little too much. Jim

Jim, OK, I confess. I have nothing against California, or the people who live in California. You may remember that you were relentlessly critical of the people of Florida, after the election. I took offense. I thought my notes about California might point out that any place is open to criticism. Every place is an easy target, especially when they are in trouble. And yes, I lived in Marin County in the late 60's, early 70's. Talk about an easy target. John
