Gateway could go domestically, like Jabil. So this doesn't disprove the jist of the article.

AMD has been trying hard to do this but the lack of infrastructure has really hurt: like the lack of integrated chipsets, SMP and even 760 chipsets. AMD may well have to start making their own motherboards if Intel drops it's mobos.
