Mr. Harrison expresses concern about customers in the handset business; the other analysts quoted expect AXT to weather that storm. Maybe Sandy is just a silicon man at heart.

CEO Morris Young comments that "although [some customers] are slowing down, they are slowing down from 60% growth to 30% growth."

With respect to InP, he says: "The business is catching fire."

AXT's new supply guarantee program also receives favorable mention. According to the article, they had already signed $53 million worth contracts for next year by the end of the third quarter and were negotiating for another $40 million.
