I agree with your point concerning IPR and that was
something I was actually pondering too. Look at the
success of Nvidia or C-Cube a few years back (1995).
What characterized these companies successes were
neither IPR nor royalty streams. Rather, it was
developing the right product at the right time and
executing perfectly in terms of landing the big OEMs.
This is what GNSS seems to be doing at the moment.
GNSS is very close, if not yet, a king. I believe they
had 40%+ market share a few months ago. In the recent
conference call, they claimed to have more than twice
the market share of the close competitors, combined.
