<<<Very good possibility that she has reached the so called glass ceiling due to her own selfish actions>>

To All: Does anybody think that Judicial Watch has any chance of putting this piece of crap where he belongs? They have many actions out against Clinton and his cohorts for the actions they did while in office. Is there a slight chance for justice?

I agree with you and Thurston about Carter. He could have used some sound advice on how to conduct foreign policy, but I respect Carter as a man. He is honest and has good intentions toward his fellow man.

And I have no doubt that all of us could trust him alone in a room with our daughters.

Shootie,

Lol, yea that Peter had ONE good idea -g-

People on power trips have always interested me. I negotiate (and its a living, so I must be decent at it), so I always look for the "reason" why certain people go on the p-trip. Of course I will never know for certain, but it has been my experience that some issue with self-image is always at the core.

The real trouble is that I am pretty soft on some people. I figure if they got this messed up without me, then they sure don't need my help making their life worse. Still there have been occasions like the one you describe, where I had to cross the line and become aggressive and responsive.

To make my point, I once had a local police officer suspended for 30 days. I would have looked the other way 99 other times, but this guy was a clear danger to the public. I had to act, and the city agreed with me without a single reservation. Even the police chief didn't put up a fight.

That ceiling will do funny things to people.

Carter's whole problem was he had a very political job and real distaste for politics. Carter wanted to build a better something, I am just not sure he knew what that something was, or how to build it. Still as a man I do have great respect for him. The hostage thing was such a difficult thing for him, and the slap he got the day they were released screams how important America's world image is. Still I respect him as a man, and as an elder statesman of the Democratic party. Funny how they don't have too many on the other side without some baggage.

Have a great weekend.

TH

Hi Shootie, while I think what Jimmy Carter is doing now with Habitat for Humanity is wonderful..I still have to question his sanity when he gave away the Panama Canal.
