Jim,

Interesting...

I too see 2600 as support, as evidenced by an hourly chart. We could visit that region early next week. Most of the tech I'm looking at is overbought in the short term. I would view a return to that level as a healthy bounce within an hourly uptrend (fills the gap, higher highs/higher lows etc).

My previous post seeks to reference a longer term trend... perhaps 2 to 6 weeks out and beyond. I think we agree that there appears to be little resistance until 3000. It will be interesting to see if postitive money flow is still trending strongly when/if we reach that level... which would represent an increase of approximately 25% off the bottom. Right now it's on pace to do that in a month's time. Wow, great return, especially since individual stocks are in some cases doubling or more. But... is it sustainable, or is this a last opportunity to unload tech before the 'supposed' exodus? I dunno.

Stay liquid,
Dave

JIM:

Still trying to do some "bottom fishing", which so far has been quite productive, may be because of the "January effect".

Planning on buying ECIN at 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 level.( If the general market cooperates).

Still watching the situation in California, which could cause some "domino effect" to the economy and the market.( The stakes seem pretty high as far as the amount of money involved and the energy demand should be increasing even more in the near term.) What do you think ?
