Did you read that President Clinton left office with a higher approval rating than Reagan?

>>Bull. He probably enters the presidency as the strongest.<< So, GW -- loser of the popular vote with an approval rating of 42% -- enters as a stronger President than FDR in 1932, Ike in 1952, Johnson in 1964 and Reagan in 1980. Well, given that unmatched strength, and a Republican controlled Congress, he should be able to steamroll his agenda through in a matter of weeks. At this point, he has no one to blame but himself and his Republican colleagues if he fails to do so.
