Tahoe: <all very well, but my core question was, and is, why did they (Chrsi Gent) partner with G* in the first place???> Chris Gent did not partner with Globalstar.. Prior executive management of Vodafone did this.. Gent was not appointed Chief Executive until 1997.. The deal with G* was already done before this time period.. And don't forget.. Vodaphones original territories were limited to S. Africa (still no license) and Australia if memory serves me.. There was some talk about N Zealand last year . But again. A no Show!!.. What can I say.. Companies change Management.. Management changes the direction of a company for better or worse!! Globalstar is an inherited investment.. Not one born from the loins of the current management. Maybe like an un-wanted step-child..... <It is hard for me to believe Mr. Schwartz was made aware of that a year ago...> I believe that BLS was aware of it a year ago.. After all.. How many times do you call the guy to ask for some support, or a marketing update with little or no response!! Do you remember BLS's statement on the CC just before Wireless 2000 in New Orleans.. Where BLS stated Chirs Gent would do a presentation on G*? BLS's words were to the affect of "Up until now.. Vodaphone would not give us the time of day!!!!" Think about it!! How many phone calls does it take one to figure out another person really does not want to talk to you.. "Oh! Sorry, He is in a meeting!" "Can I take a message".. Remember, in June of last year when BLS was telling everyone that the "partners" are ready to provide funding.. but hey... It's summer time.. And everyone is on VACATION!!!! Hello, I don't know how many times I wrote about that BIG RED FLASHING LIGHT!!!! Do you really think that BLS is that far out of touch with reality that he didn't "get a hint" about this "partner support" thing?? Mr. Gent.. It's Bernard Schwartz on the phone, AGAIN!
