Perhaps you have not been reading the discussion very closely. I took issue with Bald's statement that there is more male rape in the US than female rape. He has not given evidence for this statement.

No one on his thread has even come close to saying that prison rapes of men are to be ignored. They are horrible, humiliating and traumatic, just like all rape. But this was not Bald's original point, and twisting the argument to suit your desire to make the posters on this thread seem unsympathetic to others is really rather silly.

So, indeed more women than men in prison. I don't celebrate either number.
