Yaacov,

Dan Nile, he was on CNBC in early summer, last year, telling Maria Bartaremo that INTC was a 200 dollars stock!! Maria asked him "are you sure!!" and he responded "never mind, all is well with INTC! This is prior to INTC splitting ! Now he in talking down INTC and the whole sector!

I think it is a good idea to realize that whatever the analysts, politicians, reporters, talking heads on TV say is only for that moment. It has no bearing on history or the future.

They all assume that the "customers" of their sound bites will always be busy consuming their current sound bites and that they will never have time to go back 6 months and evaluate those prediction / sound bites.

The bottom line is that 90% + of the stuff we hear and read is worthless. The tough part is to identify the 10% of comments / people that provide valuable information.

Joe

Yaacov - re: "Now he in talking down INTC and the whole sector! Were these horse-behinds learn their
trade? "

They won't EVER.

They are paid exorbitant salaries - and as long as they can generate ACTION (big buys or sells) on the stocks they tout or bash - they will continue to get paid those salaries.

Thus - they have no incentive to learn or to be right - their only incentive is to make money the easiest way possible.

Yaacov - Re: "I met a few days ago a preson who lost a very large fortune in INTC calls, following this Niles comments, and I am sad to say he committed suicide two days ago! "

I'm very sorry to hear that - are you sure the suicide was due to his loss on Intel call options?
