Hi Jay,

I guess we'll see how things turn out. If the increase in quote volume numbers play out the way that SRI report quoted by others suggests, we have to hope that the faster feed is in place on all server farms before we see those volumes.

In the spring of 2000 as things heated up, trade records were way behind the actual market due to the increased volume. If the overall volume spikes as the SRI report suggests, then the delays seen in the spring will seem inconsequential I would guess, unless feed bandwidth improvements are fully in place everywhere.

(and will that be enough?)

PS, I hope that S&P Comstock has a priority elevation scheme that sets high priority on trade records. Seems to me that most people would want to see accurate and timely trade records first, quote records second.

I could be wrong.

Thanks for the reply and forwarding it up the ladder...

To qcom_datadept

I am getting the following error when I click: NEW, OPTIONS MONTAGE

"Qcharts has caused an error in QCHARTS.EXE. Qcharts will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer."

When I click CLOSE.. I then get following message

"Qcharts has caused an error in MFC42.DLL. Qcharts will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer."
I rebooted twice, same error occurs. I also tried it on a different computer and am getting identical error.

PLEASE HELP
