my opinion is that during the next two years technology will move to resolve any possible problem that the mechanics of "voting" could have. people will be watching far more closely and the possibility for a hanky-panky in the results will probably be nil. this, together with the evidence that the majority of the people seem to be for "centrist and moderate" actions will hopefully ensure more honest (!?) political negotiations. whoever concentrate in achieving actual results, rather than theatrics will win the next one. still, participation by the people will be needed to make sure
