jla, You know me well enough to know that I believe no provocation, even severe, justifies lies about or the threat of violence against anyone, so you know I can't agree that anyone EARNS this. I have no problem with people posting that X's statement on an issue is inaccurate because... or that X's opinion about _____ is tasteless and wrong because...and I understand that X has offended people with her style and I also understand where she has offended you and why you are angry. but what's happening here goes beyond that. Attacking someone with lies and with violent images is wrong. Period.
