Un., thanks for the summary. BTW Hussman's comments in more detail hussman.net -good read Vol.2 #1 1/08/01 he notes that the markets gains after rate cuts come from an expansion of multiples rather than earnings. Mike

I haven't seen IBM's balance sheet yet. There must be some sceleton's in the basement. Nevertheless the new mainframes seem to save IBM's bacon for 1-2 quarters. It should be downhill from there...
