Frank - Keep the faith, as long as the global economy does not tank hard & long, offshore deepwater activities will carry PDE, RIG/FLC 35 - 50% higher. It may take 2-6 quarters but I can wait that long for 50%.

You were not wrong about deregulation being the way to go. California is not representative of intelligent management of this process. Most of the regulated electric utilities were very bloated slow moving wasteful organizations that needed to be eliminated. Sure electricity was more reliable before deregulation, but the price was high. Even the best transition will have some one time costs, but over the long term competition is the only way to go.

The level of government involvement will always be an issue. But lack of involvement in NG E&P in 98/99 is an example where more effort was required.

Now that January options have expired lets see what KEG can do. It sure seems like an effort was made to settle it at 10.
