SB,
I am convinced that NTAP is a Gorilla, but I very much respect the views of those who disagreed. They cause me pause. (I am often wrong about these things.)

Their status is not obvious and requires a not-so-easy-to-see distinction in the storage sector (content management/distribution). It could even be argued that that segment has not tornadoed.

We all pretty much agree that NTAP is the King of NAS, and that NAS is in a tornado. What is not so clear is the distinction that NTAP has made in a context which includes NAS but is much bigger--content management/distribution.

I suggest we place NTAP in the King of NAS column and footnote it as a W&W for clarity in the larger storage sector. As they deliver the products to fulfill the bigger context, things will become clearer.

Seldomblue,

I forgot to vote in your poll, but my vote goes under "Whatever DS says". :-)
