Thanks Cheeky, that little hint actually let me finally get Internet Connection Sharing fully working between my Win2000 and Win98 PCs. ICS in Win2000 aparently doesn't support WINS, but hardcoding the DNS server address in the W98 client worked for me.

Now to try it again with OpenBSD.

( I'm using Zonealarm now, so I'm not completely defenseless )

I'd look up the ISP's DNS servers, and configure DNS accordingly.
