Well, that wasn't my normal manner. This guy was a particularly tough nut to crack. And like most drunks, he was a big baby. He had been having people cover for him and make excuses for him for years, his life as a drunk had been made easy by his wife and his boss. And then he wanted me to cover for him, too. No way, I thought. So I just blurted it out. A tad brusque, but guys like that do need to suffer the consequences of their actions, at least for a little while. After I burned out on counseling I took a 10 week course in wallpaper hanging up in Rutland, Vermont. A welcome respite. <G>
