So I guess the Chinese leadership is no less oppressive as the British "darwinists" you seem to vilify.

I see no difference politically in HK. But economically, someone obviously are so jealous and begin to screw up the HK stock market and its society so as to bring up social outcry.

And your point is?

PhDs do corruption. You know what I mean.

But it is MORE prevalent in societies where "the few" rule over "the many" with no system of accountability to the people as a whole.

Money does talk with a big mouth, doesn't it ?

But they aren't emigrating FROM the US, now are they?

You mean to Europe ? Well ... I know some friends who went back to HK when the market there was pumped up. Now they know they've been trapped.

Well, if you hadn't invaded/annexed them in the first place, they wouldn't be in your backyard in the first place.

Get real, Ron. I thought we've talked about how China had been invaded throughout its history by foreigners ??? Did the Chinese offend them first ??? Foreigners have been showing interests getting a piece of land in China. That's FACT.
