Sorry for the confusion. It seems my previous post got posted three times as I kept adding to it. It surprised me when I got an answer back before my time was up for making changes. Ah! The world of the Internet....ANON

Anonymous,

QUESTION: What happens to stock price?...on Tuesday?...on Wednesday?...or even tomorrow?...can stock take another negative report even though everyone knows it is coming. Talking finance heads on the telly will say that all this is already factored into the price of the stock....is that a given?

Is the last few days of a run-up just one of those preparations by the market to sell on the news!...either before the news is announced or just right after.

Is the fact that the whole communications sector has seen upward movement recently just benefiting LUCENT and smart money is in there taking advantage of that small pop to make some money on this company?

Anyone have some smart answers?

Quite honestly, if I or anyone else for that matter, actually had any of the answers, do you really think we'd post them on a chat board thread? <g>

No one knows for sure what will happen, one way or the other. As they say in New York, youse throws yer chips on duh table and youse takes yer chances...

The stock has come back to 20 9/16 from 12 3/16, or up over 68% on basically no news and/or bad news. To my way of thinking, that ain't rational. So there's no way I'm going to even try to predict what the stock price will do next. It wouldn't surprise me to see them announce that they may go belly up and then watch as the stock price shoots past 100. Nope, wouldn't surprise me at all, at all...

<sigh> <shrug> <genuine disbelief>
