I haven't found it Liz. Perhaps I'm missing something. There's oil and gas plays, diamonds, base and precious metal plays but I can't see the big win yet.

If there's a pattern, things start with very high notes and great enthusiasm... then start to fade. Only question is how high might they go with ARP? There's currently a lot in their favour... but is it worth the risk?

For ARP, most closely watched project with biggest interest is Foy at Sudbury. Perhaps you, Bruce, or others can decipher their drilling and geophysical intentions. Beats me! But just one good hole with their very tight float....

Bob

Hi Liz. Here is a small part of a report(My DD) I completed on PVF. The part I offer is somee of what you are looking for. I cam look up the names of the home runs if you like! They are all the same players!!

Paramount Ventures and Finance Inc.

This is a brief summary of my research in to this company and after 2 yrs of digging I think it is worth a look. It is up to you to decide if this fits your needs and while I believe all information to be correct, you best check yourself! Enough said, lets get to the discussion at hand.

This whole game started in early 1996 and it was Southwest Gold (SWG.T) that was drilling for gold in Ont. They had an EM. of a round body and suspected that it was a gold deposit as samples were saying same. It was drilled and an announcement came that no significant gold was found. What was not stated was that it was a kimberlite body(What diamonds are found in) and it was diamondiferous. To date this has not been proven to my complete satisfaction but I do now consider it very highly likely!

(SWG.T) is own by George Plues, publically traded on To. With symbol SWG. George is known for taking 3 different companies worth pennies and selling them for over $50.00 and with real projects. He is considered a stand up person and 2 yrs ago donated $50 million to the University of To. SWG owns 55% of Canabrava Diamond Corp.

Canabrava Diamond Corp. (CNB.V) is a diamond exploration co. It is run by Rory Moore and Dan Innes. Dr. Roy Moore is famous in the diamond world for his discovery in the NWT and is a geophysical chemist with a specially in diamonds Dan Innes was the head of the ONT. Geology Dept with provincial gov. and left that job to join CNB. Both men are wealthy.
Telephone: (604) 669-2525 Fax: (604) 688-5175 E-mail: info@canabrava.ca Contacts: George H. Plewes (Chairman), Rory O. Moore (President) or Daniel G. Innes (V.P Exploration)

These 2 companies had a tight little thing going and in 1997 CNB needed money. SWG has $80 million but could not give CNB the cash without showing so in the 1/4 reports. Diamonds are a very secretive business and the cash had to come and be spent without being noticed! This is were Paramount Ventures and Finance comes in(PVF.V).

Paramount Ventures and Finance(PVF.V) Was sitting on some $22 million cash and had a president known for doing deals on a hand shake. Given the past relationship of the principals of this co. and George I suspects that there was some favors being repaid also. Anyway Principals, Paul Conroy(President) Wealthy stock man, a dealer and capable of walking the gray area. John Gunther, Co-owner of trading house Jones Gable, and Bob Mathews silent partner of Jones Gable. There are several other big fish tangled in here but there name don't matter to me.
